University-owned accommodation

Many University-owned rooms, within close proximity of the conference centre, have been reserved for conference delegates for the nights of 21 and 22 March, 2016.  Please book by following this link to Edinburgh First. 

Update: 10/3/16:  Our previously ring-fenced rooms on the University campus have now all been re-allocated to the general public.  Therefore, if you search Edinburgh First's accommodation using our special discount code, "BLCS16", you will find no rooms available at the preferential delegate rates.  However, a search without the discount code will show the full remaining availability (but without our discounted rate applied).  Please contact Edinburgh First directly to ensure that you obtain the discounted delegate rate on any remaining rooms.

Further information about the location and types of rooms available are detailed below:

• Masson House (£61.20 per night, bed & breakfast)  Mostly double bedrooms, 1 minute walk from conference centre, within the Pollock Halls campus of the University.  (£76.20 per night for double occupancy).
• Salisbury Green Hotel  (£85.20 per night)  Mostly double bedroooms (some family rooms available upon request), 1 minute walk from conference centre, within the Pollock Halls campus of the University.  (£110.20 for double occupancy).
• Richmond Place Apartments (£85.20 per night)  Studio apartments with self-catering facilties (no breakfast included, but can be arranged upon request).  Can sleep up to 2 people.  Near city centre, 10 minutes walk from conference centre.

For those who wish to bring partners/family, please specify number of guests at time of booking and ensure you request a double room (some family rooms are also available).  A small surcharge will apply for double occupancy to cover the cost of extra breakfasts.  Extra nights' accommodation is also available for some rooms upon request.  For further information, please contact Edinburgh First.

Non-University accommodation
