If you are interested in contributing to the conference, with either an oral or poster presentation, please submit an abstract using the attached template document (Word format). Please indicate in your email whether you prefer an oral or poster contribution. Please email your abstracts to the conference chair, Dr Philip Hands, before the appropriate deadline, ensuring your email subject has the title "BLCS/DFKG abstract".
Abstracts are stricly limited to 1 page maximum (please do not adjust the margins or font sizes to fit!). You are encouraged to include references and images to illustrate your work where appropriate.
The conference chairs will strive to maintain a balance between the oral contributers, to ensure fair representation from UK/Germany, and between different sub-disciplines and topics of research. Furthermore, as this year is a joint meeting between the UK and Germany, with a larger than usual number of potential delegates, we cannot promise that all requests to give an oral presentation will be successful. For those who are disappointed, we apologise in advance, and will offer instead a poster presentation.
